FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

Elise’s life long love of learning found a home in the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. After teaching in the model for nine years across the grades at a school near Chicago she leveraged her experience training and supporting teachers while an administrator. Since then she has gone on to attend and graduate from Ambleside Schools International’s Master Teacher Trainer program which grew her understanding of the model and its applications. She continues to tutor and provide homeschool consulting to help both parents and students find joy in their relationship with ideas.

Elise lives with her husband, four children, and ever-growing number of animals in Powhatan, Virginia.
